Metrokane Wine Shower Funnel

Here is an interesting device for aerating wine from Metrokane, the folks who brought you the Rabbit Corkscrew . The Wine Shower Funnel with Strainer, not only lets you get air into the wine but has a handy dandy strainer for dealing with any sediment or bits of cork that might be floating in the wine. Sediment tends to show up in red wine mostly, and corkage problems do effect a certain number of bottles of many vintages. All in all, a handy item if you are into red wines. [Wine Shower Funnel]

In red wine, and in any wine bottle I open with my terrible, terrible corkscrew. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been forced to go get a knife and spent 15 minutes hacking the cork into pieces… good thing I mainly use wine to cook with, not to drink!
