oster_inspire Oster Inspire Wine Opener

A few weekends back my wife and I attended a party. One of the hostesses helping out behind the bar was an elderly lady in her late 70’s. She was opening wine bottles with an Oster Inspire wine opener. Although she was fairly slight and probably weighed all of 90 lbs soaking wet she was powering through those bottles like a frat boy on his way to a strip club.
I am normally opposed to battery powered whiz bang gadgets in the kitchen, but I can see a real need for a product like this. I have a large free standing Rabbit wine opener which is probably the easiest wine opener I have used as of yet, still my wife has a difficult time opening a bottle of wine using this beast. The Oster Inspire is rechargeable and is good for opening around thirty bottles of wine before it needs a new charge. Just place the Inspire in the self charging base and you are good to go. The Oster inspire also is equipped with a foil cutter to help remove seals and the handle is ergonomically designed.
This is a good option or those who just do not have the strength to manhandle a bottle of wine, Priced at around $30.00 this makes a great gift for those kitchen gadget collectors. I would buy one for my wife but then what useful purpose would I have? [Oster Inspire]

I had one of these and it would leave flakes of cork in the wine, also it broke after a couple of months.
