Ok. Wait a minute here. Just slow down. It’s a pancake. First and foremost, isn’t that good enough for anybody anymore? Can’t we settle for a few dark chocolate chips tossed in the batter? Do we really need to get this fancy? Evidently, yes. But I’m not convinced. Because I think if you’re going to jam something inside something else, a little crunch factor is behooved. It’s a personal thing admittedly. But a pancake by nature… well, I guess those of you who like that whole fruit on top crap will love this. Fine. I see your point. Here’s how it goes. You make a pancake and this contraption lets you stuff it with al the jam, curd, fruit or cheese you want… it’s cute. I admit it. It could keep me off the streets for a Saturday to play.

Seems to be some kind of Danish type traditional foostuff - these stuffed cuties. And if the website isn’t lying, looks easy enough to do. Fine. I admit it. I want to play with it. But I still don’t think everything has to be so complex. You could just make a pancake and fold it over no? But it wouldn’t look as formal. And nobody would clap as much. So I guess I approve, albeit begrudgingly.

And would chocolate as a filling be wrong?! It says recipes included but makes no mention. Somebody get on that. I’m thinking breakfast éclairs… I’m thinking obesity challenge 2009. Mmmmmmmm. Breakfast is no place for moderation. [ Ebelskiver Filled-Pancake Pan

I guess you could look at it as a way to make bite sized stuffed crepes…

    Give me good old buttermilk!
